Every month, our Secret Stash Club is a chance to explore a new colourway and the creative possibilities it inspires. This September, we’re embracing bold, tropical energy with a colourway that’s as vibrant as the last days of summer.

THE BIRD OF PARADISE COLOURWAY
Our September 2026 Secret Stash Club colourway, Bird of Paradise, is our wish for summer to last just a little bit longer. Vivid magenta, deep amethyst, and warm golden peach twist together with flashes of rich teal and soft green, capturing the striking beauty of its namesake bloom. It’s a colourway that refuses to be quiet, perfect for projects that deserve a little drama and a lot of joy. Read more at the colour reveal post »

CRANKING THIS MONTH’S SAMPLE
With the bold colour repeats of the Bird of Paradise Club colourway, knitting socks on the circular sock machine felt like the perfect match. There’s something magical about watching the stripes unfold while hand-cranking each round on the CSM.

For this month’s sample, Felicia followed the same construction as her CSM Starter Socks pattern, which is included with her online course Circular Sock Knitting: Foundations, at the School of SweetGeorgia. Through the video lessons, she walks you through everything from setup and tools to creating cast-on bonnets and heel snakes, so whether you’re new to CSM knitting or looking to refine your technique, it’s a great place to start.
