Every hand-dyed skein of yarn and braid of fibre at SweetGeorgia is checked for quality by Charlotte Lee. Even though she started as a precision dyer, her roles have expanded since joining SweetGeorgia. Let’s dive in to get to know Charlotte.
Fibre Arts is Her Jam
Charlotte is an instructor at the School of SweetGeorgia, where she teaches the basics of crochet, dyeing, felting, and more. Charlotte spends most days in the dye studio, designing colourways. She also connects the makers with projects for our samples, and still finds time to design beautiful crochet and knit patterns for SweetGeorgia and the School of SweetGeorgia.
Being the host for many in-person events at the studio, she is a friendly face to our fibre arts community. She spends a lot of her downtime knitting hats for charity. Personally, I love Charlotte’s kindness and am so impressed by how fast and efficiently she knits, crochets, and spins. It’s incredible!
