Soft, cozy, and endlessly wearable, the Meraki cowl by Jenn Starhunter is the kind of project that lets colour do the talking. The gentle fade through rosy, berry-toned shades highlights every shift in hue, while the clean texture and modern shape make it an easy piece to throw on for an instant pop of warmth and style. Now with an updated pattern including instructions for two mini-skein set options, choose your favourite and get ready to cast on.
HIGHLIGHTING HAND-DYED MINI-SKEINS
Looking for a project to showcase your hand-dyed mini-skein set? Jenn Starhunter’s Meraki cowl pattern fits the bill; it’s compact, satisfying to knit, and easy to pick up and put down whenever you have a few spare minutes.

We were smitten by the rhythmic colour changes in the original Meraki sample and we were excited to try it using a Mini Colour Fade set. This project is perfect for enjoying all the nuance of a subtle fade, where one shade melts into the next and reveals the full depth and beauty of a colour story. The Meraki cowl lets you appreciate both the smooth transitions and the striking contrast between the shades.
One Pattern, Two Mini-Skein Options
Knit in our beloved SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock yarn, Meraki becomes a stylish accessory you can wear through all seasons, adding a splash of colour to any outfit. Choose your favourite 5- or 6-mini skein set; the revised pattern includes instructions for both options.
