A basic pullover you reach for all the time. Looking for a trusted layer that will keep you warm while being functional, versatile, and put together? Yes please!
We are big fans of Tin Can Knits, a Canadian design team that focuses on designing modern, clean, and approachable patterns. For many knitters, the Flax pullover has been their first sweater pattern, and for many others, it’s the one they reach for over and over. The extensive size range offered in Tin Can Knits patterns is the perfect excuse to make a matching wardrobe for your kid, partner, or whole family.

SHOWCASING SPECIAL HAND-DYED HUES
In our quest to showcase gorgeous colour in our beloved SweetGeorgia Trifecta DK yarn, the Flax DK sweater was a no-brainer. With so many stunning shades to choose from, we wanted to highlight one of our signature colourways: Magician. A semi-solid array of muted purples and blues, this colourway evokes an ocean of tranquillity in the Flax pullover canvas.
While this pattern is approachable to adventurous beginner knitters, we find the blend of Bluefaced Leicester, mohair, and silk showcases colour and gives the finished garment a polished look, ready to shine in your next outing.

Knit to a gauge of 22 stitches and 31 rows over 4 in / 10 cm, the fabric provides warmth while the sweater design makes for an upscale but utilitarian layer. It’s a cozy sweater that looks great on everyone. The DK-weight yarn makes knitting this sweater a relatively fast pursuit, so your next favourite layer will soon be joining you on your next hike, under a jacket, or at your favourite coffee shop.
