Join us for our first “Winterful” Weave-Along!
I’m so excited to share with you something new we have planned for our weaving community at SweetGeorgia. This November, we are starting something called the Winterful Weave-Along! This weave-along is meant to be open to everyone—whether you have a rigid heddle loom or a multi-shaft loom. We want to enjoy weaving something together… enjoying weave structures, playing with colour, working with different yarns and textures, and seeing all the colours mix and blend together. All of this fun can be enjoyed by both multi-shaft and rigid heddle weavers.
We have a goal of weaving a project called the Kaleidoscope Scarf, designed by Amanda Wood. It is a beautiful colour & weave pattern that we recognise as log cabin. Join me at today’s video for more information on the scarf, the weave-along details, and all the fun we have planned for the next couple of months!
