HIGHLIGHTING HAND-DYED COLOUR
We’re delighted to reintroduce our beloved, free Barbara cowl pattern—now newly knit in SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fine. This yarn is the trifecta: combining BFL, mohair, and silk into a beautifully soft and strong 3-ply, fingering-weight yarn. Whether you’re drawn to light, luminous hues or crave the drama of deep, moody tones, this yarn base is available in over 100 shades. Find your favourite hue!
The Barbara design by Shannon Cook is knit flat so you can try on your cowl as you knit. This allows you to achieve the best length for your height and preference. The design showcases the subtlety of hand-dyed yarn and is a satisfying project—perfect for a beginner and beyond.

Holding two strands of the SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fine yarn together to match the gauge of the original design, the result is a fabulously soft cowl to cozy up in. A warm accessory that is sure to become a “go-to” piece in your wardrobe.
This pattern would also work beautifully using yarn skeins from your stash. Great options would be SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock or SweetGeorgia CashLuxe Spark. Just remember to make a gauge swatch and adjust the pattern accordingly.
