Secret Stash Club Knitting: CashSilk Fern Scarf
Showcasing our September Secret Stash Club colourway “Apple Picking”, this month’s sample beautifully highlights the nuance of the skein’s colours. Capturing the essence of crisp autumn days and the simple joy of apple picking, this month’s yarn lends a seasonal touch to every stitch. The CashSilk Fern scarf bundles you up in a rich blend of rosy reds, warm oranges, and earthy greens and browns. Join us as we highlight this special project and celebrate the artistry behind this stunning new sample.

THIS MONTH’S COLOUR STORY
This month’s colourway, Apple Picking, is full of rich, warm depth and nuance. As we return back to school and to simple autumn joy, apple picking seems like something perfect for the season.
Apples are not just red or green, they are so full of colour and nuance. The skin could be all shades of rosy red, pink, warm orange, pale yellow, acid green, brown, beige, and with little freckles of brown. Our September 2025 colourway is meant to give that feel of holding an apple in your hand. Read more about the yarn at the colourway reveal post.

THE CASHSILK FERN SCARF
Designed by Felicia Lo originally using our CashSilk Lace yarn, the CashSilk Fern scarf pattern has been updated to also include details for knitting with a fingering-weight yarn. Ethereal and warm, the meandering fern lace pattern creates a delicate, cozy knit.
This free pattern requires only a single skein of yarn. Irene Martin kindly knit the CashSilk Fern Scarf sample for us, using every last inch of yarn to make the most of the SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fine skein.
